Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks, Tamara! Couldn't find that middle "a" anywhere.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Oh David, that is horrible news. I came in here ready to spew bile about the complete suck-fest that was my commute home tonight, but I think that pales now.

Good News:

The theatre gave me a $1000 raise

My BFF's husband has been alcohal free for one month and they are back living together. He may just pull this together yet.

My mom's kitty, who was diagnosed with hyperthyroid, is doing much better.

My boss, whose position was eliminated is very happy with her new teaching job and has lined up a few consulting gigs to help make up the money. She seems so much happier, and I am glad, because she seems calmer

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I have lost 15 lbs.

The weather is beautiful right now, and I just spent an hour at the dog park.

I am seeing Wall-E this weekend.

Ooof, David. OTOH, kidney dialysis, while it seriously seriously sucks, is quite survivable. Sucktastic in the highest, but...

The good: I managed to get out of Indianapolis!

The better: It does not look like I will be spending the night in Minneapolis! Fingers crossed, of course, until the plane is actually off the ground and all, but the fact that I made it here, and even though my flight was delayed, still have enough time to be online? Is v. good.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I was just looking at some gorgeous sleeved bridal dresses today. They are custom, so more expensive than most of us can afford, but here you go: [link]

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Okay. I have not lost any weight recently. (Though after the F2F I'm resolved to. And also to throw out my bras and buy new.)

But with all the animal stuff going on I have dragged myself off the floor and away from compulsively hugging the dog (Lucy thanks you) to say - did I ever mention that there's a bar in Chicago called Kuma's, that has a bear as it's emblem? I always think of you guys when I go past it.

Josie, Pico, Bear - good hunting.

hip deep in pie

Pico has decided to stop hating me for leaving him with the vet all day, and we just had a nice snuggle. He cannot resist my siren call to the snuggle.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Good News Audit

Just found out that I did well in my performance review. Bonus of about 1 month's pay, and a 3% raise. Yay! (And whew! I can pay for the F2F trip.)

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

DH accidentally turned on the front left eye of the stove instead of the back left. He then took defrosted chicken on a plastic plate out of the microwave and set it on the front eye.

The house smells like burnt plastic. We're ordering pizza.
