"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I FINALLY have seen the umbrella cubicle farm. I would be obsessed with creating a full coverage system .

Being a Little League parent, I know you can set up temporary canopies to create shade over fairly large spaces for relatively little money. Certainly less than $1,000 would've been enough to shade the area which had eight cubicles.

So, it really is just a colossal case of "Fuck you, employees!"

The cube farm is down to three inhabitants now. One guy is on temporary duty from Houston. I'm a temp and the other guy is just used to it and doesn't want to move his desk for the remaining two months at this space.

do you think the site focuses on certain types? You'd never get that many people on an American street wearing that much second hand unless you were targeting.

They've got to be. I think they're focusing on the stylish eccentrics and rocker types. I've seen three different profiles where the person says that Hanoi Rocks and Nikki Sixx are fashion influences, at least two Sweet Lolita/EGL profiles, and some very elegant Goths. (Like these two! [link]

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

There's a fair amount of vintage on the Sartorialist [link] but again, he makes a point of finding interesting people. So sometimes it's expensive and sometimes it's vintage, but it's almost never the Gap.
