Natter 59: Dominate Your Face!
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
My skin looks better when I don't fuck around with it.
Lucky you. But I also have to say, you must be young. I used to not use any foundation, but all good things come to an end. Now my best face involves at the very least a bit of mineral foundation and a light sheen of powder.
Bush Stimulus
heh.
Well, part of the money is going to Good Vibrations...
I've been working out regularly for the past week--aqua jog, yyoga, running on the treadmill and the elliptical trainer and today, a core strengthening class on the exercise ball. My left heel is sore and my ankle feels week and unsteady. Should I be looking for a new running shoe? Or should I wrap it? I'm working with a trainer tomorrow so I want to be able to do stuff but I'm unsure of my footing now.
Even mineral makeup makes me break out, so the only way for me to avoid needing makeup is to never wear it. Otherwise it's just a vicious cycle of needing foundation/powder to cover up blemishes caused by the foundation/powder. (Eye makeup lasts a couple of hours, max, before it starts to itch so much I have to wash it off. I just can't stand the feel of it.)
I'd try wrapping or some sort of light support brace, Cash.

I'm sure my best face involves something different from what I'm putting forward--I just don't care. And although I have no proof of breakouts, I can't but wonder.
This week is my first poledancing class. Thursday. No migraines between now and then. Disallowed.
Oprah saying that every (every!) mistake she's made has been because she ignored her inner voice
Well, it's possible that every good decision she made was ignoring her inner voice, too.
I just can't stand the feel of it.
I can say this about every bra I have ever owned.
Oh, Jilli -- my mother was telling me about one of their neighbors, he must be in his early 20s now? Anyway, she described him as dressing "goth," although it sounded possibly more punk to me, but saying how he was still so engaged and talking to them on a visit home and etc. I said you would be pleased with his manners, and referred them to Gothic Charm School.
Although I could be wrong, but I don't think adults came to my eighth grade "graduation." It was still A Thing!
Parents attended 8th grade graduation, I think, but I remember going to my sister's 10 years later and being amazed at all the entire extended families and the extreme level of dressing up - it seemed (to me) pretty clear not that this was the end of the road for school necessarily but it might be the end, as far as graduations go. [And, frankly, MPS graduation rates pretty much bore that out. I suspect it's not gotten better since.]
You'd think that there shoulda been an earthquake today, of all days, what with the marrying of the gays and all!
It starts tomorrow in WeHo. They're not even doing it at City Hall. They set up a special Marriage Center in an auditorium.
Amy, weirdly, I just had this open in another window. Looks comfy, and I'm curious to try. I'm still looking for the right bra camisole.
