I am not leaving until ca. July 24. But it takes time to rid oneself of a 5-years basement.

R Kelly? I still spit in his general direction.
He might take that as an invitation. That's one man you do not want to get into bodily-fluids-projecting-type thing with.
Crap. I've gotta work tomorrow.
I can't believe that about R. Kelly.
No you don't Tom. I excuse you.
Happy Birthday Dylan! Such a big boy.
Happiness to Dylan on his 1st bday!
I had the best lunch. Within walking distance to school. Chicken soup with hominy and a barbecue chicken salad with fireroasted corn. AND an Auntie Em's red velvet cupcake because this restaurant has a deal with Aunti Em's.
NOM NOM NOM.
Happy Birthday Dylan!
Happy Birthday to Dylan tomorrow!!
I was just looking at some blogs to see about the Russert story, and CrooksandLiars was saying how the on-air people at MSNBC were finding it obviously hard to talk about him, understandably so. That reminded me of when Bob Collins, the long-time morning show host for WGN radio here in Chicago, was killed in a plane crash. The sad thing was that the on-air people were having to talk about this news story of a plane crash without discussing their fears that it was their friend and co-worker who was the pilot (they knew he was going to be flying in and out of that small local airport and what his plane looked like, so the footage of the crash only strengthened their fears). It wasn't until a few hours after the crash that his identity was released and they could finally grieve in public.
Kathy, a similar thing happened to the FOX affiliate in LA. One of the guys that worked with the morning show was killed in a plane crash and watching the anchors hold it together and watching one of them totally break was so hard.
