"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

This chart tells you when it's worthwhile and how far it is worthwhile to drive for cheaper gas.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That doesn't take into account the lazy, or the high percentage of stupid people between me and the cheap gas.

HA! No it doesn't. But it's kind of a cool chart.

My new commute doesn't involve much surface street driving, so it seems more annoying now than it used to.

In non-gas price news, TJs baked jalapeno cheese crunchies are pretty darn tasty.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

We passed a station with regular at $4.25 on the way to church this morning, and I filled up at Costco for $3.90 (spending ~ $52). Costco is 5.5 miles from my house, and I did the math and decided we'd save a little money making special trips there, but not enough that it'd be worth the hassle of extra traffic and the long line at the pump unless we had a reason to go to Costco anyway.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Season 3 of Venture Brothers starts tonight. Supposedly this will be the season of no Star Wars jokes!

How can that be possible?! Maybe if they made inside jokes about The Tick.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I just paid $4.17 for regular. It's freaking me out.

Okey. Tidied up, laundry done...do I really have to do dishes? Please, no.

I'm thinking of having a housewarming kind of dealie, soon. Need more chairs.

Tidied up, laundry done...

I read this as TIED up, and thought it was an interesting overshare. Clearly, my brain is in kinky places. My body is jealous.

And I went and had pizza slices, even though I had just been to the grocery store. I mostly bought frozen food and those zone and odwalla bars, anyway.
