I don't give a good gorram about relevant, Wash. Or objective. And I ain't so afraid of losing something that I ain't gonna try to have it. You and I would make one beautiful baby. And I want to meet that child one day. Period.

A new round has come through, but still no rain. Lots of lightening. It is interrupting and distorting the television signal, and seems to be centered over TV Hill right now.

Our wings are not tired.

Trust me, I heard that argument from plenty of people. FIL even slipped the kid a bit of ham one time. I'm fairly certain he never did again after I told him how I felt in clear language.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Huh. According to [link] , in 1900, 80% of children in American cities had rickets. I wonder how severe it had to be before they got counted in that number.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I wonder if it's coincidental that many place with less sunlight have a lot of fish in their diets, traditionally? Or I could be making shit up again.

Guess it would be tough to have a Vitamin D deficiency growing up in Florida.

Unless you hide from the sun all the time! Which, of course, people should do.

That's my theory. (I had low Vitamin D when I was tested in January, so I've been thinking about Vitamin D a lot. My doctor blamed the fact that I'm vegetarian and don't drink much milk. I blamed the fact that it was January.)

I'm guessing they added together. Doesn't grain stuff have added D, too?

Hahaha! Okeechobe Okoboji Okeechobe Okoboji Okeechobe Okoboji Okeechobe Okoboji

In the kids-are-resilient-and-adaptable, I present my nephew who stole handfuls of hot salsa when he was under a year and just put that stuff away with glee! And he was a formula baby. He's a healthy, active 5.5 year old who eats anything you put in front of him and will often pick out something so exotic, even his garbage disposal dad pauses at (though if he says he doesn't want to eat it, listen. He's got a good reason somewhere and it has often come back up unexpectedly.)

Whatever works for you and keeps them healthy.
