Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I think the question is *why* I would want to do pushups.

Punishingly Intricate

And will this be showing up on your travel blog?

heh.

I can't really do a lot of pushups even though I think I have pretty good form in the chataranga portion of my sun salutations. It's the pushing back up that kills me.

Yes, exactly.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

The ability to do pushups, according the article, is an indicator of not only overall fitness, but also of how well a person will age. Someone in the article makes the point that, especially as you age, the ability to stop your body from a fall is more important and your ability to recover from a fall is a big deal.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I just went and proved to my self that I can still do pushups. But I saw no reason to see how many I could do....

Oh, well. Hopefully my otherwise mostly clean living will make up for that.

Huh. Okay, I guess that makes sense. So, anyone want to explain (or link to) the proper form for girly pushups? I may try doing some when I get to the office. (With my door shut of course, do I look like I've completely lost my mind?)

I wonder if petticoats will be a hinderance in doing pushups?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

How To Do A Push-Up - to do the girly version, you have your knees on the ground.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

That Times article was interesting and the sidebar video was amusing. I'm certain my form was much better than any of the women in the video.
