well, what else are you gonna do in the dark? How much of a hassle would a pregnancy be up there?
Well, there are 125 people stationed there during the Antarctic winter. The next supply flight will be in late August. So if we assume one condom for each sex act between two people, then each person can on average have sex three times a day.
Huh.
And I don't think I've ever heard anyone shout "Taxi!" like that in real life.
Really? I have. (Although now I'm suspecting that my friend did it just to placate me, the tourist.)
Is Amy around? I just heard from some guy in the lunch line that there was a tornado 15 miles from Oswego!
I'm here! There was a tornado warning, apparently -- when Stephen went to pick Sara up from preschool, all the kids were lined up in the hallway because of it.
And we had a massive thunderstorm, lots of wind. It's all over now, though. If the tornado touched down, it must have been somewhere between here and Oswego, like Minetta.
Oh good! Glad to hear you all are safe! The guy was pretty sure it touched down, as he was on the phone with his mother, but wasn't really clear on where. He actually was com[plaining because he religious friend is trying to convince him this weather is a sign of the apocalypse!
What about Chicago blew your mind, lisah?
well, to be honest, I didn't actually see much of the city.
lisah, didn't you meet a boy in Chicago? Hmmm?
exactly. Expectations were exceeded!
I can't imagine that the cab driver could hear someone shouting over all the other street noises.
Heh. in DC, they always have the windows open. I have to request that they roll them up and turn on the AC (which they have to do by law)
