I'm so sorry you're back in the ER, ita. I really wish someone could figure this out for you.
I'd try, but I'm not a doctor and anyway, my brain melted several hours ago. I'm at DH's computer because D is sleeping in our bedroom again (only one with an a/c), and DH is out at a screening. At least I'm near two wide open windows. Still too hot.
So the big news in Canada? The Hockey Night in Canada theme song has been bought out from under the feet of the CBC by their competitors, CTV, when negotiations with the rights holders for the song broke down. (I always think of Sports Night when I think of the rights holders for HNIC: "Someone holds the copyright to Happy Birthday?" How can you hold the copyright to that?) It's like NBC putting the ticking at the beginning of 60 Minutes on Dateline. Or David Letterman stealing the Tonight Show theme from Jay Leno.

What?!? Shocking.
Also shocking: I'm editing a document and there was a typo in the word maintenance, so I right-click to fix it. Suggested fix: maintenances. Really?
ugh ita, the waiting has got to suck.
So dinner was just brown rice and chicken thighs that had be seasoned with salt and paprika. How can something so simple be so damn good? Maybe I was just hungry for it.
I've been so out of it with the travelling -- hadn't heard about the Hockey Night song "theft" but I can understand how that would be annoying and disorienting. Hope that public opinion will make them reconsider the wisdom of taking it away from the rightful place.
I had to Youtube the Hockey Night theme, and confirmed I'd never heard it. But then, most of my hockey-watching was le Soiree du Hockey (in the era of Bobbeee Smeeeth). Et le but!
ETA my father was a devout hockey fan, specifically, Canadiens, living in Lewiston, ME.
The NYC Dept of Ed sent home a Fitness thing on the kids. They do a full fitness exam for kids 10 and older, but for little ones they measure height and weight and spit out the simple take nothing into consideration BMI. HAHAHHAHAHA mac and BMI should not be allowed in the same sentence. 3%, in the red zone for low.
3%, in the red zone for low.
On the up side, Mac could totally go as Barack Obama for Halloween.
Timelies!
I have a hivemind question: I'm trying to figure out what to charge someone for downloading a pdf. I know I've seen pdfs to download for a price, usually manuals and such, but I can't find any right now. I need to give pricing advice to the guy I'm designing the pdf for.
oy, what a sentance! @@
That's going to be totally dependent on the content - can you give us any hints?
