Illyria: We cling to what is gone. Is there anything in this life but grief? Wesley: There's love. There's hope...for some. There's hope that you'll find something worthy...that your life will lead you to some joy...that after everything...you can still be surprised. Illyria: Is that enough? Is that enough to live on?

hip deep in pie

Pico is back from the vet. Still undiagnosed. They gave him some appetite stimulatant and some subcutaneous fluids fro the short term. If this doesn't work, more tests. The appetite suppressant has made him totally stoned. He's like a zombie cat. Poor guy.

But at least he is eating.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Glad Pico is eating. sending the ma~~`

Wrote my letter to all the City people about the 'incident' that happened on Saturday. Emphasis on economic impact with a bit on personal saftey. My area had a horrid reputation - 13 bars on 2 blocks. Nothing else - and lots of bar fights friday thru Sunday. Not for a long time . Now these things are happening

and to be very honest -- the owner is an ass.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You travelling somewhere this 4th ita?

My mother wants me to, but if it involves wrestling, it's not going to happen.

Oh, and how's the headache?

Frightful. And I don't know if I can do this week's worth without killing it.

Still undiagnosed.

Pooh on uncertainty. But eating is good.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh man, beth, I heard about that on the news this am. No idea it was near you.

ita, ita, ita. That just sucks.

Fourth of July not typically a flying holiday, I don't think, but coming on a Friday makes it less easy to predict.

Eat up, Pico!

I've flown the night of the Fourth. The only thing notable was that when viewed from whatever altitude planes fly at, all fireworks are red. Or maybe you can only see the red ones. Either way.

I sorta half made pad thai for dinner. Needs more kick (and I don't have any hot sauce) but other than that, it's pretty good.

Pico is totally stoned, drooling, wandering around the house eating everything in sight. I had roommate like this back in university.

sarameg - Jun 09, 2008 2:13:01 pm PDT #2089 of 10003

Man, the appetite stim I had for both my cats didn't stone them. It made them foam at the mouth (because it tasted so bad) and want to kill me (because it tasted so bad.) Hope Pico's on the mend.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Vibing hard for Pico's recovery.

When I brought Amarna back from the vet after taking her in to see what was wrong last month, I knew she was already feeling better when she headed straight for her food dish and snarfed down half of her kibble. And all they had given her was an antibiotic and subcutaneous fluids.

I give up. I am having sufficient difficulty with simple tasks that there's no way I'm driving home. Which means it's off to the ER with me.

This is so *almost* a waste of time, you have no idea.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Poor Pico. At least he's eating.

Poor ita.

At least Scrappy's mom gets a party!
