Well, the good thing it that when you pass out, if you were holding your breath yourself, you start breathing again.

At what point the observing parent starts breathing again, I don't know.

(Note: my own kids have never done this to the point of passing out, but Peter did hold his breath until he turned blue at one point, and we freaked the fuck out.)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Yikes!

An explosion will be carried out on a World War II bomb that continues to disrupt travel in east London.

The large bomb was found in a river at Sugar House Lane, near Bromley-by-Bow Tube station on Monday.

It will be defused after a "small" explosion by 15 Royal Engineers experts. Earlier this week the bomb began ticking as they approached it.

::goes to Danger UXB place and re-childhood crushes on Anthony Andrews::

We had no water again this morning. Something I found out after my 90 minute Bikram yoga class. I was all set to stay home from work, and took the dog to the park to run her around when my DH showed up to tell me that the water had come back and I could shower and still get to work.

At least it's only a 1/2 day today.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Still a little sore today(and laughing at some of the previous discussion doesn't help) but feeling better. Monday I should be back at work.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That wasn't very nice of DH.

What are people's weekend plans?

I'm going to Seattle. I suspect there may be cupcakes and flailing and possibly some squeeing. Plus brunch.

Braggart!

We have neighbors coming to dinner tomorrow night. Other than that, no firm plans. It's going to be 90+ degrees here with a disgusting amount of humidity, so I wanted to reserve the right to hide in the air conditioning.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Possibly, although they don't have a heartbeat, so I'm unclear how the blood is reaching the brain. Apparently the guys at least can direct their blood flow otherwise, though, so I guess there's something going on.

I think we're supposed to handwave that, because now I'm just picturing blood pooling in a vamp's stomach, which is disgusting and also doesn't make sense -- don't they need it in their veins? Now that I think of it, wouldn't a transfusion be more practical?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Picnic with freinds tomorrow, dim sum with high school friends on Sunday. Possible parental visit with Em after dim sum.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Now pictureing the blood pooling in the stomach with, like, the blooming onions and weetibix... and it is really disgusting.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

What are people's weekend plans?

A's game with Hec and Emmett and Matilda (wearing K-Bug's toddler A's jacket) tonight. Working at a booth at Deco By The Bay all weekend. Emmett has a playoff game on Sunday; I don't know about Hec, but I fully expect the team to sail to victory and proceed to another playoff next Thursday.

I think it's safe to say that Perkins's weekend plans WIN, and can only possibly be exceeded by the plans of the Seattlistas who will have cupcakes, flailing, squeeing, brunch and the company of Perkins to boot.
