I only watched the last 15. Sigh. I have a soft spot for all teams Pittsburgh.

The last summer I lived in NC, I swam around dinnertime for an hour or two (ill advised, I hurt stuff) and then went home to no a/c. In one of their hottest summers.
I'm sure the swimming was a sub for a shower, considering I showered off the chlorine afterwards.
I shower at night, usually. In the morning, stumbling out of bed and into clothes is about all I can manage. Also, if I shower at night, then I get into bed all nice and clean. And I don't blow-dry my hair, so during the winter, if I shower in the morning and then go outside, my hair freezes. And during the summer, if I get all sweaty and gross during the day, then I don't want that to just stay on my skin all night.
I shower in the morning. Of course, when it's really hot, I shower in the morning, when I get home from work and before I got to bed. (Live without air conditioning.)
I want to give Kat a big hug. You're a good egg, Kat! You totally don't deserve all this. I'm wishing you good luck all around.
I take night time baths. I just figured it was because in my heart, I'm a procrastinator. And I like to put things off. And I'm not really a morning person. But now I'm wondering if I just got into the habit because I spent my formative years in Miami. Also, I don't blow dry my hair, it generally looks okay if I sleep on it damp, and I'm a really still sleeper, so it doesn't get all tangled. But I totally get it that people like morning showers. I'll only resort to one if I know for some reason that I'm going to wake up desperately tired, and I need the waking-up-ness effect of a shower.
Also, baths kind of stress me out. I don't find them relaxing at all. I just think about how I'm feeling sweaty, and how much more time it's going to take me to get clean after I'm done just sitting there. So I get antsy. And then I want water. Or a different book. Or a towel to dry my fingertips so that I can turn the page without causing any water damage. And then I start thinking of all the things I need to do that I'm not doing, and I want to start making a list, so I want pen and paper. Essentially, I'm just really terrible at baths. However, I do have an awesomely deep bath, and I do use it, just not really for bathing so much as treatment for sore muscles.
Good egg indeed.
Ali, when did you want to see the movie?
Sunday morning? Or I could do Friday evening. But I prefer an AMC theater on Sunday morning with $6 tickets. Because I am frugal.
Kat, I'll be thinking good thoughts for your father's surgery tomorrow.
Sunday morning works for me in that it lessens the chances of me having gotten a headache yet.
Also, my mom hit a deer which messed up her car. Sigh.
Oof, Kat, sorry about the stress on the fam.
I really thought my mother had taken care of the deer quota for all the buffista mothers. At one point she had hit 4 in three years. A combination of where she lives, lots of night driving and the fact that SHE CAN'T SEE FOR SHIT.
Fortunately, she's never been seriously injured. She is, ironically, allergic to venison. The deer are out to get her. One way or another.
