Joyce: And what did you do tonight? Dawn: Irritated Giles. I'm beginning to get why Buffy likes it so much.

'Get It Done'

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Oh, Scrappy. How horrible.

I'm finding a combination of techniques from Positive Discipline for Preschoolers (I think that's the title) and 1-2-3 Magic.

Works fairly well. We do a lot of the races to do things and the whole, "Oh-oh! Did you forget how to put on shoes? I think Lillian forgot how!" discussing.

The Positive Discipline book is very good for modeling behaviors and for cooling your own self down when getting stressed.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Much, much ~ma to you and your DH and all his family, Scrappy. How awful for all of you.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Thanks for the ~ma, everyone. DH seems to be fairly calm about this and it helps that one BiL is a long-time sober addict and has more than a decade of working as a sponsor in AA and NA.

ION, I love all the parenting advice here. Always does the heart good to see how generous Buffistas are with each other.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

That's a tough one, Scrappy. Much ~ma that it resolves well and quickly.

This morning when I was leaving for work, Momo (new kitten who now weighs a whopping 3 lbs.) was on the cat condo. I went over to give a quick skritch goodbye but the Mo had other plans. She meowed and purred and snuggled against my arm and put her little paws on my stomach and. and. So we had a little lovefest and I didn't want to leave and come to work. The end.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

This morning my cat objected to being shooo'ed off the kitchen counter. My arm bears the wounds. Lovely way to start the day.
