Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

(...in other news: yes, Fay is still a Buffista. She can sit here and angst over the punctuation in her own post until the cows come home. Yes she can!)

And we wouldn't have it any other way.

Heck, I've seen adults dressed like that at those occasions.

but that doesn't make it right! I mean, I don't have kids, but when I was a kid, we had dress up clothes, including shoes. Kid friendly, but still dress shoes.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

okay, one of the research mentors for the one of the late students just called. He actually wants me to wait until FRIDAY MORNING (the day of the event) for her project. Now, it doesn't help that I don't like the guy (he once called me "low level"). I said no, he had until Thursday at 6. He said "well, if there's a problem, I'll be calling you again" And I will be telling you that she can't present. WTFF????

Pillows. Delightful, plush pillows, Sean. That's what we were talking about. I think. Last I remember, at least.

I said no, he had until Thursday at 6. He said "well, if there's a problem, I'll be calling you again"

WTF? Who does he think he is? You SOOOO need to do the paperwork on THAT one. Though in that case, I then start wondering how much is the presumption on the student's part, and how much is the student being like "well, I really would like to turn it in late" and the mentor being like "Sure, no problem!"
