I am in a very bad, don't get near me, don't talk to me, why aren't you talking to me, blue funk mood. And I do. not. like. World beware.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
okay, one of the research mentors for the one of the late students just called. He actually wants me to wait until FRIDAY MORNING (the day of the event) for her project. Now, it doesn't help that I don't like the guy (he once called me "low level"). I said no, he had until Thursday at 6. He said "well, if there's a problem, I'll be calling you again" And I will be telling you that she can't present. WTFF????
In light of yesterday's discussion, I give you today's Quote of the Day from Google

Huh? I'm sorry, what were we talking about?
Pillows. Delightful, plush pillows, Sean. That's what we were talking about. I think. Last I remember, at least.

WTF? Who does he think he is? You SOOOO need to do the paperwork on THAT one. Though in that case, I then start wondering how much is the presumption on the student's part, and how much is the student being like "well, I really would like to turn it in late" and the mentor being like "Sure, no problem!"

This lightened the mood a bit, I must say. Though, a live reminder would really go a loooooong way.

I don't think that it's the student's "fault", per se. I actually like the student. I don't even think that she hasn't done what she's supposed to do. I'm more of the mindset that it is completely unfair to the other students to allow someone to walk in on the morning of the presentation to turn in their assignment.
