Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I don't know the okcupid site, but most of the dating sites I signed up to had some info to help you put together your profile. Could be useful to look it up.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

VW Bug, to answer the question you kept almost asking, according to google (so you know this is not deeply researched) yes it is a possible cause. And, something you may not have thought of, if it was not the cause, transmission the other direction is possible too.

Trudy, I meant to say earlier that I'm glad your mother is doing better.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Hear, hear. And I'm really glad it's your sister that is being driven up the walls by your mom's not-staying-in-bed tendencies.

OKCupid is pretty cool, (a)because it's free, (b) because there are fun questions to answer and (c) because i met the current girl there, and she is the only person I have ever met on the internet and actually ended up sleeping with!

We won at trivia tonight--it was a packed house. TEN teams! We won $56! And it was a very close game, there was a tie for second and we only won by one point!!!!

And I have to be on a plane in...six and a half hours. Which means I have to be at the airport in five and a half hours. Which means I have to leave my house in five hours. And be awake in...um....four and a half? Eep?

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

archetectual drawings and specifications are boring as shit. IJS! And spending my evenings reading it. Not the most exciting thing. Yet here I am, 1:30 in the morning. O hell. I'm a work-a-holic, who am I fooling.

Toddson. 2 words for you. SPIKE STRIPS. Lay in wait, and run like hell. Maybe have a Segway of your own for the getaway. How about contacting local Disabled Rights groups to organize. Maybe they can do a "sit in" blocking the sidewalks from the Segways or some such.

Vortex, that is just wrong. I am so sorry. And no grades!? So nothing really to hold over their heads? Que Horror! Maybe a very passive aggressive stance of delaying the presentations as much as possible. Let the folks who got in on time go first, and be speedy, and then for late folks, wait a LONG time between presentations, needle the hell out of them with questions, and help them understand the meaning of respecting others times.

There was more. But I am tired, and forgot to open in separate tabs to keep track. Sorry.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Oh, lord, Vortex - I want to smite the idiots for you! Ack!

I was in the office at six this morning. Stupid DH needing to be in early. It's unnatural! It's nearly eight and I've yet to do any work though, so there's that.

That's a very pretty mental picture, but I feel sure it isn't quite practical for the pedestrian vs. Segway traffic issue.
