Book: I believe I just... I think I'm on the wrong ship. Inara: Maybe. Or maybe you're exactly where you ought to be.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

JZ, you need to find some emails to send first thing in the morning, with the time stamp, that the BGH will see. You might have to save one from the day before and resist the urge to get everything done before you go home, but if that's the time BGH is paying attention to, you can play the game.

I agree with this. The Obviously Timed E-mail ploy is bullshit, but if it's what BGH wants, then do it.

not your mom's socks.

seconding Teppy. This is good practice too if you work from home. "See? I'm here! Pushing (your) Buttons."

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Oh CRAP! I was so excited that I didn't have to be at work until 11 tomorrow since the exam I'm giving isn't until 1:30. I just realized that I have a meeting. At 7:40. t cries and cries

Totally. Send an email, stop by and pop your head in his office for something stupid once in a while, make sure your purse or something is sitting out on your desk in the am if you have to get up for something. Such stupid shit, but sometimes you gotta do it.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm feeling much more human-like now that the drains are out, the bandages are off, and I've finally taken a shower. Now to decide whether I want a coffee treat or if I want a nap. Hmmm.

Yay! I'm glad you're feeling better, Nicole.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Apparently, my body has a deep desire to host the running of the Communists every month.

I'm hosting it right now! AI... I need a beer.

I managed to traumatize my two year old niece this evening. I went to hand her the cup of water she requested at the same time that her mother was leaving the room to answer her cellphone and the kid freaked out calling for her mother and crying hysterical. Poor thing. I think she thought I was going to steal her.

In the good news dept, I just got a email that my Serenity:RPG adventure is through editorial and into layout. Barring someone getting a hissy fit in the approvals stage, The Seven Arks of Cibola should end up on shelves as part of an adventure book soon...

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Nicole, I'm glad you are feeling better without the drains. Here's to you continuing to get better.

Kristin, that's wacky, hope it is not too onerous.

CaBill, I hope you start feeling more confident in with the way things are going with your comic book.

Maybe I should have a tiny handful of cashews or pretzels or something to satisfy my tastebuds' need for salt and crunch, and then eat a banana?

That sounds like a good plan. Other high potassium items include dried apricots, dates, raisins, honeydew melon, cantaloupe, avacado, nectarines and peaches. Peanuts are also rich in potassium, and could do double duty. Here is a link to a longer list: [link] Here is a list of a less comprehensive list which shows how many miligrams per serving of items on the list: [link]
