Lorne: Back in Pylea they used to call me "sweet potato." Connor: Really. Lorne: Yeah, well, the exact translation was "fragrant tuber" but…

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

In the good news dept, I just got a email that my Serenity:RPG adventure is through editorial and into layout. Barring someone getting a hissy fit in the approvals stage, The Seven Arks of Cibola should end up on shelves as part of an adventure book soon...

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Nicole, I'm glad you are feeling better without the drains. Here's to you continuing to get better.

Kristin, that's wacky, hope it is not too onerous.

CaBill, I hope you start feeling more confident in with the way things are going with your comic book.

Maybe I should have a tiny handful of cashews or pretzels or something to satisfy my tastebuds' need for salt and crunch, and then eat a banana?

That sounds like a good plan. Other high potassium items include dried apricots, dates, raisins, honeydew melon, cantaloupe, avacado, nectarines and peaches. Peanuts are also rich in potassium, and could do double duty. Here is a link to a longer list: [link] Here is a list of a less comprehensive list which shows how many miligrams per serving of items on the list: [link]

HA! I wish! Home now. Sleep soon.

I'm glad to hear the drains are out, Nicole. YAY shower!

Ugh. Bad train accident on the green line. Looks like one of the train operators has died while they were trying to get her out. Ugh.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

That sounds great, CaBil.

Pieces of plastic keep breaking off my computer. Very irritating.

Going with my mom tomorrow to visit family graves. She tried to get directions from one cemetery in Queens to another cemetery in Queens using Google maps. The directions went through New Jersey.

In case anyone was wondering what ended up being the special at Steph's bar, it was prosecco and sorbet. Unfortunately, there was no cherry, so I had mango. It was acceptable. :)
