sigh ... the woman in the office next to me uses the speaker phone for just about everything. Listening to voice mail. Most of her calls. DIALING calls.
I do that. Of course, I have an office. Although, I was horrified to realize at my last job that when I had the door open, it was easily audible in the hallway. Nothing personal or anything, but I know that I would have thought that I was an asshole.
Just skipped a ton so I could offer {{{Trudy}}}. I hope your mom is doing well.
Comic-Con was great as usual. I got to do the 2 highest things on my list, the Dr. Horrible signing and the Avatar signing, both of which were lottery style. So yay!
BTW, Nora, I am very amused that the tag with the most use (by far) in Tom's journal is BEER.
it's wrong for me to want to strap my boss to the train tracks, right? just checking...
It's not at all wrong to *want* to, honey. Doing it is the problematic part.
Don't put those khakis in the dryer yet! I think there is some product that _might_ help but I have to do some googling.... hang on!
What Amy said. Specifically, be sure you pack enough rope, because s/he might get away if you have to stop halfway through the job for a home depot run.

only if I can tie my principal beside your boss.

So I can dream about it as long as I don't act on it. This might be workable.

I guess i'll have to stick to fantasizing about it then. my hands may soon get a will of their own and choke him though.

duly noted. the handy part is that we have train tracks right beside our building.
This site [link] offers these suggestions:
Non-Bleach Methods
* Soak the fabric in hot water infused with green tea. Remove the garment, spread salt on the stain, let stand a while, and then launder normally.
* Rewash the item, adding about 1/4 cup of borax to the wash water.
This is what it has to say about Rit Dye Remover
* Rit (and perhaps other companies) produces a color remover you may use on stained white clothes. Follow the directions on the box. Be certain that you don’t use the solution around your washer or dryer, as the solution is strong enough to mar the finish. That being the case, you may also want to invest in a sturdy pair of rubber gloves and wear old clothes while you’re treating your garments.
So that might not be as practical a solution as one might hope.
