it's wrong for me to want to strap my boss to the train tracks, right? just checking...
only if I can tie my principal beside your boss.
It's not at all wrong to *want* to, honey. Doing it is the problematic part.
So I can dream about it as long as I don't act on it. This might be workable.

I guess i'll have to stick to fantasizing about it then. my hands may soon get a will of their own and choke him though.
because s/he might get away if you have to stop halfway through the job for a home depot run.
duly noted. the handy part is that we have train tracks right beside our building.
This site [link] offers these suggestions:
Non-Bleach Methods
* Soak the fabric in hot water infused with green tea. Remove the garment, spread salt on the stain, let stand a while, and then launder normally.
* Rewash the item, adding about 1/4 cup of borax to the wash water.
This is what it has to say about Rit Dye Remover
* Rit (and perhaps other companies) produces a color remover you may use on stained white clothes. Follow the directions on the box. Be certain that you don’t use the solution around your washer or dryer, as the solution is strong enough to mar the finish. That being the case, you may also want to invest in a sturdy pair of rubber gloves and wear old clothes while you’re treating your garments.
So that might not be as practical a solution as one might hope.
WHY do students not realize that a deadline is a fucking deadline? I have had three students in my office today asking if they can submit changes to the powerpoint presentations that are due TODAY. yes, I realize that the presentation is not until Friday, but there is a deadline. Why do they think this is acceptable?

I ask myself this every school year.
Thanks, WindSparrow. I didn't put the pants in the dryer, but I did hang them up to dry. I'll see how the green tea/salt thing works.

BTW, Nora, I am very amused that the tag with the most use (by far) in Tom's journal is BEER.
There's a WHOLE lotta homebrewing talk in there.
I hope it does the trick, Nora, because it would be a PITA if you have to de-dye the whole things, then re-dye them to put some color back in.
Yay Emmett!
ION, I'm wearing the new shoes I bought with Perkins AIFG! (Although the peep toe means no stockings, which I'm not so thrilled with.)
Today I'm wondering why it is that SOME people in my office take vacation but don't come back until one, two, three days after they're supposed to be. I mean, if I tried that the organic fertilizer would hit the fan, but we have one person who does this every single time and others who do it now and then.
