sigh ... the woman in the office next to me uses the speaker phone for just about everything. Listening to voice mail. Most of her calls. DIALING calls. And she keeps the volume cranked up fairly high. She was out all last week; it was lovely.

Hivemind question:
I washed a pair of very light khaki pants in cold water with other light colored items (including pale yellow sheets which we've washed and used a lot) and they came out with dingy/yellowish discolorations all over.
Any suggestions/remedies how to restore the natural color?

I do that. Of course, I have an office. Although, I was horrified to realize at my last job that when I had the door open, it was easily audible in the hallway. Nothing personal or anything, but I know that I would have thought that I was an asshole.
