Yesterday on the Metro I saw a possible future Buffista - little girl wearing flip-flops that had sparkly beads on them and a PINK tiara. So cute!
And I love the idea of the RWA convention being in DC - they should liven up the place a bit. (And blogging from SF indicates that the conference hotel is having, um, issues - one day without power and, as a result, limited hot water. ew)

sigh ... the woman in the office next to me uses the speaker phone for just about everything. Listening to voice mail. Most of her calls. DIALING calls. And she keeps the volume cranked up fairly high. She was out all last week; it was lovely.
