Faith: A kid. Angel's got a kid. Wesley: Connor. Faith: A teenage kid born last year. Wesley: I told you, he grew up in a hell dimension. Faith: Right. And what, Cordelia spent her last summer as… Wesley: A divine being. Faith: Uh-huh. Can I just ask--What the hell are you people doing?

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired

I'm stuck in rehearsal.

At least this time we're stuck in the same rehearsal.

At least this time we're stuck in the same rehearsal.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Happy birthday, Sean! Much love to you and S, and may you both find a way to get your asses up here again soon (but without the hospital visit, just straight-up-no-chaser friends time).

meara - May 28, 2008 3:08:40 pm PDT #886 of 10001

At least this time we're stuck in the same rehearsal.

Uh oh. This could be dangerous...

I am ensconsced at LAX. I'm reminded that this is one of my least favorite airports. Bleah. At least I got here with plenty fo time to spare, and because I did, it was off-time enough that all the lines were very short. So I have more time to ...chat with Buffistas. (Whereas if I'd gotten here with the routine hour before the flight, all the lines would've been LOOOOONG and I'd have been racing everywhere)

I keep sabotaging myself by my 3:00 p.m. salty snack craving.

Mmm. Salty crunch.

JZ, that's very very annoying. And paranoia making. YEeeeeessh. Any chance you can go to BGH and be like "So, I just wanted to check, these are the hours I've been working, is there something else that would be better? It sounded like maybe that wasn't best for someone?" just to get him to be all "No no, 8-5 is great"

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Because of this I have Lactaid fat free milk blended with ice and chocolate syrup every day as an afternoon snack. Not ice cream, alas, but it IS delicious.

Add a little seltzer and you've got yourself an egg cream!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

good job in IDing the problems, Susan. Even finding a solution works most of the time is a good thing.

I'm getting the pig!

vw, I'm sorry you're having such a craptastic day. I decree that it's now Couch Sitting and Snuggle with Toto Time.

Scrappy, the mock chocolate shake sounds tasty. I may have to try that. And also, yay you!

JZ, I agree with what meara said. On the one hand, BGH knows things said are getting back to you. On the other hand, you're confronting the situation without being confrontational. Wise meara.

I'm feeling much more human-like now that the drains are out, the bandages are off, and I've finally taken a shower. Now to decide whether I want a coffee treat or if I want a nap. Hmmm.

Nicole! Hurrah for the drains being out, the bandages being off and the shower! Go you with the healing!

JZ, you need to find some emails to send first thing in the morning, with the time stamp, that the BGH will see. You might have to save one from the day before and resist the urge to get everything done before you go home, but if that's the time BGH is paying attention to, you can play the game.

My puppy is so tired she didn't bother to get up when I took the garbage out -- the Boston Terrier puppy came over tonight to play and they ran each other into the ground. So cute!

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Wow, tough day for the Bitches.

meara:

Ouch Ginger, I'm so sorry you had to have the oral surgery. I hope you feel better soon.

Poor Sail! Tons of hairpats. I caused two fender benders within my first year in LA, and man was that a horrible feeling. I’m glad you're okay.

Bonny, I'm sorry you’re dealing with a bad landlord. It's so frustrating to feel like your home isn’t the sanctuary it should be.

Cabil, that really does suck. I’m sorry your happiness is being sullied by politics.

Nicole, I hope the removal of the drainage tubes turned out to be less painful than you thought. I'm very glad you're home and feeling more human, at least.

Sorry you're having a bad day, vw.

Toddson, I don't have advice, but I hope your friend's niece is okay.

Cat~ma to askye. I hope she perks up for you soon.

I, too, want to go to Vortex's for cocktails.

Woot, Scrappy! Go you with the fabulous weight loss!

JZ, I am officially thwapping BGH with a very large cluestick.

Aims, AWW! You may have lost the baby, but you've got a little girl!

Poor GC! I hope your headache goes away soon.
