Totally off topic, but i feel the need to discuss this and know of nowhere else appropriate.
Currently working at advertising agency. LOTS of magazines come in daily. One is playboy. I was browsing it today because, hey, why not? I've never actually looked at the inside of one. There were far fewer pictures of nude ladies than i expected. But those that were....were all hairless. Seriously? Is this expected? Hairless crotches? It was very odd. (And it goes without mentioning that most of the boobs were fake and there was clearly a LOT of in-expert airbrushing)
Do 30-something men expect women to have hairless pubic regions? Is this what i have been doing wrong?
Pornography has been rendering women hairless for a long time. I'm sad to say that I have heard my high school students talking about how "gross" it is for girls to have any pubic hair, which just makes me want to weep. (They do not have the same expectation of males, though I suspect they think that hair is pretty gross too.)
Definitely not what you've been doing wrong, though, babe. I don't think most men expect that at all, though I do think that young men with limited experience

I'm bushy and proud. I used to have a mohawk that I kept pretty short, now I periodically shave the "interior" but I like my bushy bush.
yeah, i trim sometimes (a carryover from synchro days when one really doesn't want to force judges to stare at bushiness exploding from the crotch of one's swimsuit while one is upside down in the splits, exposing aforementioned crotch to all viewing from above) but i can't imagine why anyone would intentionally remove that much hair from such a delicate region. I mean, i wax my legs and ingrown hairs can be awful! On my shins! I don't want to imagine trying to exfoliate my labia *shudder*
