Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Health~ma for Laga's kitty. Think positive, honey. It's probably just a "fatty deposit" of some kind. Has she had any shots recently that she might be having an allergic reaction to?
Sean and I are going to have lunch at the same place we went yesterday because they have such yummy sandwiches. Nom nom nom.
It's actually the shrine organization that got left out, which is a branch of the whole masonic tree. The other masonic branches got the news.
I'm going to take off eventually, but mom is about 200 lbs of dead weight to move around. It too the CNA and I almost 2 hours to get mom through the morning ritual and now she's having a sandwich. Once we do the transfer to her chair I'll run out of a few hours. Mom can't even sit up in bed on her own. She had a stroke a few years ago, has congestive heart failure, and parkinson's among other ailments. She really only has reasonable use of one arm and hand.
eta The CNA just got lost on her way here which is understandable. The organization had been calling to update me and she was quite completely lost.
{{ND}}
and I feel bad for the CNA -- late just makes people unsettled.
sorry Aims and MM
Happy birthday vw.
went looking for music today-- it is sad that target has a better selection than Borders.

kitty ma~~
And the CNA wasn't really informed about how much assistance mom needs. This week was really rushed. They are going to place a regular CNA with us for Fridays and Saturdays so that mom's caregiver gets two days a week off, but this week was rushed so we've had two temporary CNA's from the agency. They've both been quite good and seem nice, but mom is just a lot to move around.
ND, you're a good son.
I thought that the mortuary or funeral home directors were supposed to do some announcements, etc. for their clients. Sheesh. I would have assumed the Shriners have a phone tree or something, too.
ION, I want cake and have none. Feh.
Happy Birthday VW!
Don't even get me started on the San Diego paper and it's disgusting policy about obits.
Btw, Drew, if you want me to slim down the obit I wrote for the program and take care of getting it placed in the paper, please let me know. That's something I can do from here.
