Mom said fatty cyst too. It's about the size and shape of a marshmallow egg. It seems loose under there but she haaates when I try to feel it and makes a horrible noise. Do fatty cysts go away on their own?

So Hubby's been hitting his nitro more often than he likes, so he talked to his cardiologist, who decided to get some pictures. Cardio looked at the pictures and scheduled a treadmill test for next Monday, with a new drug for the interim. Hubby gets a call this morning from cardio: "Could you pop by today? We'd like to look at a couple of things. And bring all your drugs."

I had not been able to pick up the new drug yet, due to the pharmacy closing early yesterday and whatnot. Come to find out Monday's treadmill test is now a full angiogram, and the doc was very relieved to discover Hubby hadn't started the new drug. Seems they diagnosed the wrong drug and it would nearly have guaranteed an infarction if he'd started taking it.

When the situation is important, the universe nearly always manages to arrange things in our favor. Hubby's had several angiograms, but he hates them. Apparently the anesthesia doesn't completely take effect on him when they start the procedure, and he always feels the first incision. I'll ask him why he doesn't point this out to them.

So Could-Be-Worse News, but not the way I wanted to get Monday off. Still, it could be like the last time, when he had the angio at 9 AM and we were home by lunch.

Random obit story. When DH#2 died the newspaper called to write an article wanting a picture and more info. I wasn't up to the task at all so his sister told me she would take care of it. Katie got his age wrong and made him a year older than he was. When I saw it published I assured her that she was in for a good haunting because he always lied about his age, but not in that direction. At least she picked a picture he liked.

And yeah, the obit policy in our local paper sucks too.

It's only because the pharmacy closed early yesterday for a state holiday that I didn't pick it up last night.

I don't need those kinds of close calls.
