I'm not evil again. Why does everyone think that?

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Punishingly Intricate

But that may just be Marie's personality and not typical of female cats.

I think it is pretty typical for the ladies. After they get past kittenhood.

I know Taz is good with casual encounters with other cats, even if they are hissing at him. He was like the Sammy Davis Jr of the shelter! "Ladies...Hey, how ya doing... What's going on over here?"

ha! Love it!

Because books.

Morons at the redneck run shelter thought she was a Chow, so they were automatically going to put her down.

Whyfor? ::is confused::

Cute animals! I may have to post a picture of our adorable new cat.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Vortex - is this what you are looking for?

Can't remember if you are in DC proper. If not, tell me the town and I'll see if I can find it.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Chows are sometimes considered to be an agressive breed. In some municipalities, they are on a controlled breed list and are put down pretty much as soon as they enter a shelter. Much like pits.

That's so weird! I had never heard that. My grandfather had a Chow he adored, and it was the sweetest dog in the world.

“Not dead yet!”

Kitties!!!! Eeeeeee!!! Kitty cuteness!

Here's Jack-Jack, looking offended. His best expression.

And yeah, Chows are considered aggressive breeds-- but here's the Big Stupid of this shelter-- they don't automatically put down the pits, because they can be easily adopted out to those of the Michael Vick school of dog ownership.

Hence, not liking people much.
