Mal: You tell me right now, little Kaylee, you really think you can do this? Kaylee: Sure. Yeah. I think so. 'Sides, if I mess up, not like you'll be able to yell at me.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

“Not dead yet!”

Gronklies.

It's going to be in the nineties again today. And probably rain. Which is okay. But I keep looking longingly at my SF forecast and ticking off the days.

In the meantime, more coffee.

Trudy, I somehow missed what's going on (see: lack of coffee) but I can tell it involves your mom and healing ~ma, so please, to add mine to the rest.

Coffee.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

My back is out again.

I'm starting to fucking hate my body like never before. Like, not even during puberty did I hate it this much.

Our wings are not tired.

Hivemind help request. My nephew is getting married and this is my sister's one shot at being mom of the groom. She is a large woman with a great love of brown. I found this at Catherines [link] and this at JCPenny [link] The wedding is in the Adirondacks and outside, so not fancy, but she does want to look good. What other plus size sites should I try. Torrid had nothing for me.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Laura, Fatshionista has a pretty comprehensive list of plus size stores (brick & mortar as well as online) with reviews.

An excellent site!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

{{Trudy}} Much get-well~ma for your mother. Bleeding ulcers are very scary, but very easy to treat once they're found.

Is there anyone here who would be wiling to take a look at my resume? I did some radical rewriting of it, so I can take a copy of it with me on an interview, today. They've got a copy of an older one, but it very nearly didn't get me the interview, so I need someone to take a good look at my new one to see if it's catchier.

Librarian Warlord

Laura, there are some links to places here: [link]

I cannot speak for any of them, unfortunately.

MM, sorry about your back.

Trudy, I hope your mom is doing well today and that your eyes have recovered.

1.5 days until vacation...

Laura, you can try Lane Bryant too.

(It's listed on Nora's link! I'm gonna bookmark that one too!)

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Laura-

I can personally vouch for igigi.com and alight.com from the fatshionista link- although those might be young sites for her. Alight runs hella small (I think because it is "juniors", because I am an 18-20, and a 3X barely fits me.

Also, for really classy and expensive clothes, the ladies at Manolo for the Big girl recommend Talbots. I am hoping, after I pay off my debt, to get some suits there, as they have plus petites.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

I am Captain Crankypants this morning.

I have to compile a report in Excel, the data for which is transferred from a different system first as a .CSV. Of course the stupid thing plants two blank rows between each of the OVER A THOUSAND ENTRIES, so that I have to drag rows together for the rest of time.

There's probably some easier way to do it, some macro I could build or something but lo I am not conversant with Visual Basic and have no idea how to do it.

Grr. Arrgh.
