This money, it is too much. You should have some small refund.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Megan, ARGH! Call them. Demand to speak to someone. That is ridiculous. We bought the fucking parking pass. It was ON YOUR DASHBOARD. Gah!

I know, it's insane. And I can request a hearing, but I'm supposed to pay now no matter what. I'm going to call tomorrow, but, given how my first conversation with them went, I don't have high hopes. Right now, I think I will request a hearing and include a check marked "paid in full" for the citation minus the parking fee you paid.

I know I didn't read the tiny writing that said I had to write my license plate on the permit (even though it was dated and inside on the dash), but the fact that they took 2 months and didn't even address the letter and proof I sent them is what is driving me bonkers!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

At that end there can be only one.

Not according to the marsupial family.

Oh, Trudy. Shit. I'm so glad she's going to be ok, but shit.

megan, that's beyond ridiculous.

It is POURING here. I kind of like it.

Our wings are not tired.

{{Trudy}} Hope you got back to sleep. Much Mom ~ma headed your way.

Willipedia

Just had to see it again. Perfect.

It is raining here too. It rained yesterday. Just when I was getting into walking in the morning. Oh well.

Ugh, Megan. That kind of thing makes me insane.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Goodness, Trudy. Much health~ma to your mother and cope~ma to you.

Susan, I'm sorry to hear about your mother's cancer. If your mom was confused during the driving incident, it could have been a bit of "chemo brain". My mom had that occasionally during her treatment. It wasn't a lasting problem for her.

It seems to have stopped raining here. I'm not convinced it will last, though.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm afraid not, vw.

not your mom's socks.

Trudy, much healing and good care to your mom - and less eye-watering at your new job (happy new job by the way).

{{Sean}} everyone here is very wise and cares about you a lot. Seconding all of that wisdom, including and especially the go visit Kristin part.

I've been skimming and skipping like a mad thing - trying to do a bunch of stuff all at the same time, while you're doing another bunch of stuff as well, is teh hard.

“Not dead yet!”

Gronklies.

It's going to be in the nineties again today. And probably rain. Which is okay. But I keep looking longingly at my SF forecast and ticking off the days.

In the meantime, more coffee.

Trudy, I somehow missed what's going on (see: lack of coffee) but I can tell it involves your mom and healing ~ma, so please, to add mine to the rest.

Coffee.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

My back is out again.

I'm starting to fucking hate my body like never before. Like, not even during puberty did I hate it this much.
