Congratulations Susan!
Erk, I need a cup of coffee too, I hope it's done brewing soon.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Congratulations Susan!

CONGRATULATIONS SUSAN!
way to go Susan!!!
Thanks, y'all!
It was a good conference. I need to go through my notes from the workshops while I still remember taking them, and especially find all the ones where I had some epiphany about my WIP in the middle of a lecture and scribbled it in the margin of my notebook.
Congrats, Susan-- on both the win and the mommy moment. *g*
Annabel just asked me to help name her new dragon. I suggested Temeraire. She agreed, only she's pronouncing it Timber-rare.
I am ded from the cute.
Daisy Jane, give me a buzz about today's plans. The when and where's. I realized I still don't have any contact number for you.
Congratulations, Susan! That's great news.

We've got Sectional Championships today. Our town hasn't won Section at any level in a long long time so it'd be a big deal. Wish us luck!
LUCK!!! Luck!!! luck!!! LUCK!!!!

ION, and semi-xposted with Great Write, I won second place in science fiction/fantasy at the Pacific NW Writers Association Literary Contest tonight!
Susan, that's awesome!!! That's got to feel SO GREAT.
When I got home from the winners' after party with editors and agents, Annabel was still awake. She and DH had gone to the aquarium this morning, and she'd been waiting up to tell me about the giant octopus and to give me the key chain with my name on it she'd picked out from the gift shop. I gave her my name tag with the finalist and second place ribbons (which I'd promised her after I came home still wearing the badge on Thursday and she was admiring the finalist ribbon), along with the plush dragon I got for her at the bookstore room. She loved both gifts, and it was just a very good mommy moment, somehow.
Awww. So sweet. Plus -- you got a keychain!
