I missed the conversation about hair, but at one time I was muchly invested in my long long hair. My view of myself changed after I cut it. I used to say, "when I had long hair, everyone told me my hair was pretty, after I cut it, everyone told me that I looked pretty." Which is to say, long hair can be gorgeous, but shorter hair can frame a face.

We just hooked up our TV. To the actual cable. So I'm watching actual TV for the first time in 4 years. It's weird. Not nearly as clear as DVDs, plus they keep stopping the show to try to get me to buy cars or get a Chase card.
