Lorne: You know what they say about people who need people. Connor: They're the luckiest people in the world. Lorne: You been sneaking peeks at my Streisand collection again, Kiddo? Connor: Just kinda popped out.

'Time Bomb'

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Cute cut, Nora.

What's the point of a fan that vents into the room? Doesn't that negate the whole purpose of a fan?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Great hair, Nora!

move out and draw fire

We just hooked up our TV. To the actual cable. So I'm watching actual TV for the first time in 4 years. It's weird. Not nearly as clear as DVDs, plus they keep stopping the show to try to get me to buy cars or get a Chase card.

Mostly lurking...

Oh, I'm home in my blissful AC. Thank GOD for AC.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Proof of how much I skip, skim, and generally just don't pay enough attention to What Really Matters In Life - I did not know of Dr Horrible's Sing A-long Blog until Just Now. Just Now!

me too!!!!!

lovely hair, Norah!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

lovely hair, Norah!

I just did a brief double take, then realized that she meant Nora.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I can't seem to keep up with Bitches anymore.

{{{Drew}}} I'm so sorry about your dad.

{{{everybody else}}} I'm not up-to-date but here's hugs for those that need them. I'm still hanging around the slower threads.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Just got home from the first half-day of the Pacific Northwest Writers Conference, and I'm having a great time. I love these things because for just a few days I get to be 100% writer. It's revitalizing and identity-affirming, since I fight so hard to find time to write. It's never in the margins of my heart and soul, so it's wonderful even for a little while not to be forced to keep it in the margins of my life.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I just got back, and caught up. Drew, I'm very sorry. But it's good that you could be there, and your dad could be at home.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Yay for Susan's conference, and Yay for Nora's haircut.
