VW- i've been temping (in Portland, granted, but still....) and for months got away with one nice pair of slacks, a couple of clean skirts, and a four nice tops. Plus a super nice blazer that is now 4 sizes too small so i can't button it but it still looks swanky and sharp for interviews as long as i leave it open :) Now that i'm somewhere for months, i've started scoping Nordstrom rack on my lunch breaks to pick up a couple of office-appropriate (i.e. not "Hello boobies!") dresses and some more variety of tops so that i'm not wearing the same outfits every week. Most places hiring temps don't demand full suits. Or even heels :)

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Or even heels
Well, they're not getting heals. They'll get my mary jane clogs just like everyone else. This place does require suits, though. I know that. I've got one suit and another blazer. I'm sure it will be fine.
Not flabbergasted, but a bit surprised. What? Is there an alternate universe where Stephanie does more than chase guys and eat coffee cake? No offense. But fanfic?
They require all employees wear suits? Jeez. I have never heard of that and it sucks.

Well, I don't know about for every position, but they certainly have positions where it is required (the higher-paid positions). And it is definitely required for all interviews.
The Aunts are always saying that I remind them of Stephanie Plum. Not for any of the good reasons - mostly just the ditzy and clumsy moments.
Oh, erin_obscure, are you still looking into testing to become a 911 operator? Or were you? I know someone mentioned it a while back and I asked the boyfriend about it (he's a deputy sheriff but he used to manage the 911 operators a few years ago.) He had some decent tips and interesting insights which I'd be happy to share in email. (I just took a vicodin so I don't fully trust my brain right now.)
Anyone know a place where you can create a tshirt with designs on both sides? Everywhere I've checked only does one.
So resume question.
I'm putting together my references page, and I don't have phone numbers for everyone. Should I include those I have or just put down e-mails?

Does Cafepress not do this anymore? IIRC, they definitely used to -- at least one of my Buffista F2F shirts is printed on both sides.
vw, When I did this last round of jobhunting, I put down the ones I had phone numbers for and added "More available upon request," assuming the phone numbers would be chase-down-able later if needed (and adding the phone numbers as I found them).
Cafepress has let me make two-sided shirts, and zazzle looks like it will too.
