Kaylee: So how many fell madly in love with you and wanted to take you away from all this? Inara: Just the one. I think I'm slipping.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I want that 'zine and would be willing to pay. I hope he'll be selling it online or something.

Oh, yes indeed. He's co-owner of Atomic Books.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Thanks JZ. I may take you up on it tomorrow.

I know that it wasn't the healthiest relationship and I'm well rid of him, so part of me is like, whatev'. And I knew that he had started dating someone pretty seriously so it's not a total surprise.

Still, it's sort of a sucker punch when someone that was totally relationship-challenged and a true commitmentphobe (who could barely handle me staying with him in the 4 days that I was between apts when I was moving) is married less than a year later.

It's sadly reminiscent of when I was first out of college and I had three boyfriends in a row get engaged shortly after dating me. My friends in NY joked that I should hire myself out to Jewish mothers looking for their sons to settle down.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Sturm und DANG!

Oh, MM, you saucy fella. Love it. I'd been trying to think of something that rhymes with 'mal' (as in 'fleurs du...').

megan, yuck. that's such an icky feeling, i am sadly acquainted with it. it always reminds me of When Harry Met Sally when Sally sobs, "Why didn't he want to marry *me*?"

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Hey, MiracleMan, I want that technology and not just have it be a kerfuffle bunny. Prisoner aspect could stay part of the KB. I joke with people that I could power my own plant with the energy I create while working and I'd love to be able to actually have that as a possibility.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Well, uh...write your congressman.

Thanks for reading!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I've had several ex-girlfriends get married with the next person they dated after me.

But I'm egocentric enough to feel like it was my positive influence that allowed them to be ready for matrimony. (Not pure egocentrism on my part. Two of them said, in effect, that "you weren't The One, but our relationship was healthy and I could see how a long term commitment would work.")

It's all in how your psyche spins it, I guess.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Shit. Liv's fever has spiked to 104. I'm taking her in at 4. Looking for someone to come sit with Owen.
