HAPPY BIRTHDAY SOX!!!!!
Warning - work rant ahead
Yes, I agreed to cover for a month while you go to Korea. Yes, I will do this while balancing my new workload, getting settled into a new office and getting involved in new projects. BUT for the love of pete, WHY didn't you send me a detailed message with where you left off with things? How do I know where to jump in and why didn't you finish that list that you were given last week. So now I'm duplicating effort and having to do things that should have been done a while ago while missing who knows what since you didn't send me any hand off information.
No love.

Happy birthday Sox!
Keep sharing those adorable pix of Buffistae babies!
I opted to NOT set up a Voudoun altar and chant, as I'm on thin ice anyway.
I admire your restraint in this matter.
I'm sacrificing chickens in my head.
....aaaaand it looks like prayer time is over, so I'm outtie.
Laters, taters.
It's Not About the Accent and Adios to My Old Life are Barb's books.
THEY ARE TEH AWESOME.
Yes, yes they are. I can't even decide which one I like best.
Happy Birthday, Sox!
Annabel's daycare class is doing lots of field trips this summer. Mostly it's just going to parks around the city (especially the ones with beaches) and doing nature walks and stuff, but today they're going to a Storm game. AB is very excited. I'm glad they're going, because for someone who in theory is a big supporter of women in sports, I don't really walk the walk, since I mainly follow the Mariners and SEC football.
Singapore, it turns out, has a zoo, a night safari park, a bird park, an aquarium and an insect house. This could be one busy day.
I STRONGLY STRONGLY recommend the Night Safari. STRONGLY STRONGLY STRONGLY.
When are you going? (I'm going to be visiting Singapore with friends in early August. Don't suppose there's any chance our visits overlap? 'Cause an Australasian mini-F2F at Raffles over Singapore Slings would be
awesome.)

Happy Soxday!
I have a family friend in Singapore. She has a blog somewhere about living there. [link]
This post looks familiar. I must have mentioned it before.
Thanks be to those pimping my books- the author name they're written under is Caridad Ferrer. My real middle and maiden names y'all-- long story how I wound up using the Caridad when I spent a lifetime firmly writing "C." when middle names came up. Not because I don't like it, but because no one can pronounce the thing. But I had a very white, very WASP editor who wanted me to sound more Latina. *rolling eyes forever*
Teppy, when you come back, want I should get you a voodoo doll when I'm down in Miami?
Allyson, weren't the bras that Tyra modeled for them the Dream Angel bras? And totally OT off bras, you and I now share the same agent. :-)
Happy Birthday, Sox!!!
Barb, I've somehow missed meeting you but HI!! HI!!! I love the name Caridad. I don't get people not being able to pronounce it though. Isn't it pronounced basically the way it's spelled? (It was the Spanish class name of my h.s. classmate, Charity. Who was actually Cuban. ha!)
Cute pictures of Taz with the added bonus of TomW's silliness.
