Xander: We just saw the zebras mating! Thank you, very exciting... Willow: It was like the Heimlich, with stripes!

'Him'

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

“Not dead yet!”

Thanks, d.

Hallo, Barb! I recognize your LJ name from seeing it around friendslists...and suspect from context that I have read (and very very much enjoyed!) one of your books!

In my coffee-deprived haze forgot to respond to this, but yay! Thank you, meara-- I always love hearing when someone's read one of my babies, and of course, I recognize you from the LJ-verse as well.

Our wings are not tired.

And since orange jumpsuits with sideseam pockets are so not a good look for me

I think you could pull it off. Just another option. Also, hugs for ya.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Knee-replacement surgery ma for your pup, Brenda.

There are workers blocking the driveway. I'm going to need to leave for work soon. Ugh.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

bt, that's quite a list. Or set of lists.

Yeah, it was fun putting it together. Aside from trying to meet Wallybee's musical tastes (she likes a little drama in it, her favourites at the moment are George Michael's Careless Whisper and Kylie Minogue's Confide In Me), she has an abiding interest in language (useful for an interpreter), so I've been trying to choose songs with interesting lyrics.

All is well that ends in pizza.

But, chivalrous fella that he is, Daniel manfully strode forth and dealt with it himself, on purpose to spare me from having to touch the icky, corroded, sitting in the water for who-knows-how-long bits.

I did stop and buy a new handle mechanism in case I couldn't fix it when I got home. I wasn't going to let her have to put her hand in every single time she needed to flush...And me either, for that matter.

I wonder if several packet of Denture cleaner would clean up the innards of a toilet tank?

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Quick note to say, had a late jump off, but made it to Tempe, AZ and spent night @ friends place. Onto Texas.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Continued safe travel ~ma, Omnis.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh fuck y'all. Am still waiting for the surgeon but the last time we were here was when Lucy was hit by a car a week after my mom died and as soon as we walked in I just started crying. Gah. Need to get it together. Fuck fuck fuck.
