Abby, my daughter (10 going on 35), informed me she wants a hot pink streak in her hair. I said yes, mostly because, you know, why not, and secondly, because it'll be worth it to see the expression on my mother's face.

I never did mention -- so I feel I should do so now -- that the recent picture you posted in LJ of the amazing dress (with you IN IT) made The Boy go all nonverbal and then apologetic to me that he was drooling. I told him to save the apology because I was too busy drooling myself.
