Mal: Well, look at this! Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us? Zoe: Big damn heroes, sir.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I am shaking my fist at your work on Kerfuffle Bunny's behalf!

Not for selfish reasons at all.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I really am very sorry about this morning, and I hope I'm still welcome in this thread. I posted in so much anger this morning largely because one of the hats I wear at work is making sure everyone in my department gets their money in a timely manner, whether that's troubleshooting payroll problems, processing reimbursements, etc. And I don't care whether the amount is large or small or whether they need it or not, I always make those issues a high priority because it just seems like the right thing to do. If someone is owed money, they should get it as quickly as humanly possible. I certainly would never let anyone's payment be delayed simply because I wouldn't take the trouble to sign a form promptly! So the reason the whole thing rankled as much as it did is I felt like this manager wasn't treating us with what to me is very basic human courtesy.

Once again, I'm very sorry. I didn't mean to talk about this too much, and I didn't mean to rub salt in anyone's wounds.

Man, do I ever get that. Plus, I also get the feeling of "Hey you, here's this great thing, but you can't....quite....have....it...." Like the universe is taunting you like in the Eddie Murphy routine about the ice cream -- "Wanna lick?" t pulls cone away "Psych!!!!!!!"

I hope it all gets hammered out quickly.

new Kerfuffle Bunny.

I both love and fear Kerfuffle Bunny.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Heh. More baseball typos from Suzi.

Was about to go in and edit....but why bother, eh? Might as well provide more entertainment. Must be the thin air up here.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

What does it mean when an employer extends the date they will accept resumes for a job by two weeks? Does it generally indicate that they haven't received enough of a response?
