Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Heh. More baseball typos from Suzi.

Was about to go in and edit....but why bother, eh? Might as well provide more entertainment. Must be the thin air up here.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

What does it mean when an employer extends the date they will accept resumes for a job by two weeks? Does it generally indicate that they haven't received enough of a response?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I ave seen the new Sox Cut and it is verra niice. I ave actually been thinking (after years upon years upon YEARS of aversion) about getting a cut with bangs/fringe.

I'll likely get a cut next week so stay tuned! I'm gonna try a new place that opened up in Salem.

We made dinner with chard that we grew in our garden! I'm all proud and shit. Very, like, living off the land. If one could survive on chard, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, and herbs. Grown in small quantities.

The cucumber plant is going INSANE. yay! I love cucumbers right off the vine.

Tom is prepping a provencal style chicken stew for the slow cooker. Yum (I hope)...

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

IME, it means they don't have a candidate they want to offer the job to yet.

I wanna go to Nora and Tom's for supper.

Thanks, Chikat.

Nora, that sounds yummy. Next year I really want to do a proper garden. We have our landlord's permission. This year we have pots of herbs.

Our wings are not tired.

Nora, I tried to use Juliana's (and Lee's and Suzi's!) hairstylist this last weekend, but she was outta town until the 6th and on the 4th I was too desperate to wait. I wish I had waited. I dearly love my hairdresser, but I have to admit that he isn't very creative and doesn't force me to see the best cut for my head. I am hoping Kirstin will. We'll know in about 6 weeks.

I'm going to get pink highlights soon.

Maybe.

Oooh! I was thinking about doing that, too!
