[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Who has time to read a newsletter? Make mine a leaflet. Or a bumper sticker.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

We could do a PowerPoint presentation...

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Since there are probably quite a few Buffistas who would LOVE the chance to get angry at free money not happening fast enough for them.

I know, I know. Diamond shoes too tight. It's just...I keep thinking the stock is going to nosedive any day now, or it's somehow not going to have been there after all. You know, "Oops, clerical error, turns out all that stock was sold three years ago, no inheritance for you."

Not enough money IN THE WORLD.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

MM, don't forget the newsletter!

Absolutely. I would be thrilled to receive, on a monthly basis, free information on "Raging at the ATM: Why it feels good, even if it does no good" and "Gravity isn't enough: Why Mana from Heaven doesn't fall as fast as you like".

Shit's all sorts of different now.

And if that happens, then you aren't any worse off than you are now since your chickens haven't really hatched yet.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I hate PowerPoint, but for enough money I'd sit through days of "You can't read this, but it says...."

Again, Susan, I know a LOT of Buffistas would be happy for the chance to be upset about free money. Not that it's not stressful in the current market, but it's a chance not many of us will see.

I'm getting the pig!

Since there are probably quite a few Buffistas who would LOVE the chance to get angry at free money not happening fast enough for them.

As long as we don't go down the path of people having to wonder what's too First World to complain about and what isn't.

I can recall someone telling me once, shortly after they were laid off, that I shouldn't complain about my job because at least I had one. On one hand, it makes some sense. On the other... not so much. I reserve the right to whine. (Of course, that's not what I said. I think I said something like, "Yeah well, I don't think you should complain about your mother anymore because at least you have a mother!" *rolls eyes at self*)

I can understand how it would be frustrating to be expecting something on a specific day, especially money, only to have that date pushed back. I hope everything works out, Susan.
