Oh, good. 'Cause I think it's wicked cool. You'll be famous! Or something...
The boy has a headache and has not left yet. Poor boy.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Ooh! You could mop his fevered brow?
Yeah, I'd be happy to, but he seems to want quiet and aloneness. Like I said, poor boy.
Also, in total dorkness, I met him four weeks ago today. Craziness.

Wow! That qualifies as a whirlwind, in my book. That's like, movie love! (Er, *good* movie, I should specify.)

I know. We were talking about that this morning at breakfast. We spent since Thursday night together in a house with three dogs, and we didn't kill each other. I think this just might be a good match...
CBD makes me happy (and gives me a bit of hope).
Fay, if you get in the commercial (and it doesn't suck), I want YouTube linky.
Feeling v. lazy today. amyth and I did a fair amount of unpacking/putting away/assembling tables yesterday. Things are coming together, thought we are short on shelving for our books/dvds. Unsurprisingly.
Then we watching Knocked Up (I'd never seen it), then MacGuyver at calli's (omg the dialogue, so bad), then Saving Silverman (just, omg). You know, watching DVDs on the couch made it finally feel like home.
tea and english muffins:
Has anyone watched White Noise 2? The trailer was on Knocked Up and the Fillion/Sackhoff combo is hard to resist.
VW & CBD sitting in a tree... Yippee for whirlwind. Couldn't happen to a nicer gal!
Fay, sounds exciting. Hope ya get some movie work out of it. That would be cool.
Omnis, do you mean tchotchke?YES! I spelled it completely wrong. Shocker, huh? Considering I only know NYC Yiddish words, and most probably in slightly wrong context. I'm not going to change it, lest it make you look foolish for giving me the same spelling ;)
Many of my friends joke about the darn maid not doing her job and what do we pay her for anyway??? (they, of course, do not have a maid)I've never had one. But will when I move to Dallas. The complex I am moving to has a group discount service, like $42 a visit or something! I was thinking about it. But now, seeing the state of this place now, I'm TOTALLY going to do it. My god, I missed the lesson on dusting. And the Long Beach (port) dust, extra ick. Not grey, buy black and gritty. Eeeew.
OK, time to weed out clothes. Final purge stage I think. Cross your fingers it stays cool again. It doesn't sound like it will.
Oddly, I may actually be hiring someone (a friend of a friend) to clean, soon...we'll see...what do people think the going rate for cleaning is, anyway? I think she's selling herself short. Not, I suppose, that that's a bad thing for me. And I suppose if she has a couple hour minimum, depending on how often I had her come (probably not more than every couple weeks), it'd be fine. I've never hired someone, but I think it'd be good, but weird. But possibly necessary. And suspect it would help keep me *tidy*, as well as clean.
Here in DC, I paid $50 every other week for her to dust, clean the floors, and the kitchen and bathroom. It was good because it forced me to tidy up every two weeks.
We pay a ridiculous amount here ($150 a visit), mostly because my housemate wanted to use a service that didn't exploit its workers. However, they are awesome.
