Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That sounds like a Grey's Anatomy episode.

...apparently you could say that about a lot of my life. Only with fewer doctors. And more lesbians.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Only with fewer doctors. And more lesbians.

Hopefully with fewer explosions, as well.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

In my homework stress, I missed all the kudos on my sexiness. Thank you all, and consider the compliments returned in full.

Fucking homework totally done now, except some reading but who cares about that. Now going outside to fix my bike. I hope. Wish me mechanic skillz-ma!

And more lesbians.

Have you been watching Grey's lately? (semi-spoilery taunt)

Thrive to spite them

I bought ice cream today, Blue Bell. And then I read the ingredients in my Peaches and Homemade Vanilla ice cream. Which included corn syrup and high fructose corn syrup.

Won't be buy them again eve though their half gallons are true half gallons, (well I bought 2 pints).

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I hate that HFCS is in EVERYTHING. Trying to find a jelly for PB&J's w/o HFCS is tough. I grabbed a Smuckers called "Just Fruit" figuring it was as named. Nope. Tons of stuff, plus that corn syrup crap. The stuff is not good for you. Is a little bit of sugar that bad? and with the price of corn through the roof, I can't imagine it being all that cheap anymore.

Have you been watching Grey's lately?

Heh. Still more lesbians in my life. Less sex. More lesbians.

And yeah, HFCS is in eeeeeeeverything. I dated someone who was allergic to corn, and MAN, it's crazy.

Am currently irked because I am trying to slowly get ready to go on my trip, and need to do laundry...and someone has been doing laundry for ages. And now their stuff is done...and they haven't come ot get it out. I'm like "DAMN YOU. I need you to put your shit in the dryer so it will be done so I can put MINE in the dryer so it will be DRY by the time I need to LEAVE for the AIRPORT"

not your mom's socks.

"Muy Bueno"

Con mucho gusto! (according to my Dora Spanish) Yay VW!

We went to a parade today, and then a horse show. It was muy fun... but if I see any more madras, whale embroidery, or teacup dogs I will have to do something drastic.

Trust my rage

So, I had a weird day.

First, I went with E, F, and my parents to the Indian Memorial Day Pow Wow which was awesome. There were several tribes there all dancing in their regalia - so many amazing feathers, bells, shells, animal skins, and so on. Ellie loved the drumming and the dancing and the little kids were so cute all dressed up. Several of my mom's school kids were there so that part was fun, too.

Then, I found out that my cousin, who is about 28 maybe, is in the hospital because he lit his hand on fire with lighter fluid. I don't know the full extent of his issues, but apparently there was a couple that had taken him in, sort of, and he had been having sex with the husband and the wife which led to the lighter fluid. And, in the mean time, he has admitted that he was sexually abused by my grandfather until he was maybe 10.

So, in summary - extended family messed up and sad but a very fun day with immediate family.
