Angel: You're lying. Gwen: I'm fibbing. It's lying, only classier.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

BTW, it turns out that the anti-Christ serves food at staff meeting - Jello Salad in large serving bowls, no plates, eating bowls, napkins, utensils or serving utensils.

Does he give you guilt trips if you don't eat it? If so, it looks like my Great-Aunt Irene was the anti-Christ. We all had our suspicions, but honestly, I thought it was just so much family drama.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

She lands at 5:30. And I won't know when my couch is being delivered until later today, I think. But if we could work around that...would be fun!!!

Haven't gotten up. Don't wanna face the boxes (yes, yes, if I look to my right I will see a few huge stacks, hush).

Welcome Back, Calli!

In our cat news, Teddy's creatinine is 0.7. About as good as it gets. He's also at 11.5 pounds, compared to 11.75 before his kidneys failed.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Aww, yay Teddy!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

oh dear, Suzi, your story reminds me of a former co-worker - he lived in Florida but, for some obscure reason, took a job in DC (flew home to Florida every weekend) and rented a studio/efficiency aprtement here. His wife checked out the apartment size and - since she could actually coordinate colors - picked out furniture, towels, etc. They ordered a sleep sofa and he expected it to be delivered one weekend; he came back expecting to sleep on it. Got home Monday evening ... and no sleep sofa. It was too big for the elevator and they refused to carry it up as many flights of steps. So he cancelled that one and went and ordered another one ... which also turned out to be too big for the elevator. Ended up ordering a sectional that had a fold-out bed section. At one point he had three couches on his credit card and was sleeping on an air mattress.

I laughed and laughed.

not your mom's socks.

the bad is back at work. the main person involved has begun using air quotes around most, if not all, of the terms that reference services I deal with. Too bad she cannot redirect the time with the extra keys towards useful dictionary deployment. Chick doesn't spell well at all.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I wipped out the Amex Gift Cheque, and they took it! (suckers). Did I mention it was given to me in 1997! OMG!

I think California has some sort of law on the books that says gift certs and gift cards can't expire.

Because books.

Happy actual birthday, sj!

That sofa story took me right to Friends, Toddson. "Pivot! Pivot! PIVOT!"
