i'm feeling productive. i actually stopped on my way home from work and picked up something for dinner and other odds and ends we needed around here. now a nap would be welcome because this week really has been hellish. i didn't even get a lunch today.

So last night I had a Kate P.! Woot! She came over and spent the night before catching a plane out to her next stop this morning. It was so good hanging out with her.
I got an email from payroll this morning saying that not ONLY do I have to fill out all those release forms and the tax forms...I also have to fill out the online application AGAIN because I apparently filled out the "master" form rather than the correct requisition. Um. I entered the correct requisition number, fuckos, WTF. That took me an hour last time. I'm really not feeling very motivated to do it again considering the crap you're paying me. You all will be proud of me, though. I did email my supervisor and expressed my (polite) frustration and asked if there was any room to negotiate my salary.
I also just found out that I get to tag along with ND on a Caribbean cruise he's working the first week of August. Our cost? $183. Um. Yes. Yes, please. Thank you, Universe, we needed a little good news this week. It won't be as much fun for him since I'm sure he's going to be working crazy hours, but at least we won't have another two weeks apart in the middle of all the stress and insanity.

Thrive to spite them
I have a kitty update.
The tests are back and she has an elevated (or depressed I can't remember now) thyroid. And there's medication they can give her BUT one test showed kidney problems and another didn't and the medication could cause kidney disease to get worse if she has it.
So I could get medication and go back and get more tests. But she's eating and drinking water and is alert so that's good.
But I have to decide. And right now, I'm just tired of decisions. And I have to think about moving. But I decided to wait until Monday and see how Anna does through the weekend. If the extra fatty food seems to be working for her and she's perky then I'll talk to the vet about what the best outcome is without any medicine.
Also I was going to the beach but I'm so stressed about Anna and my dryer is broken and I haven't done anythign about finding an apartment and I'd have to buy groceries and drive and then deal with my extended family. Most of whom were not at my cousin's funeral and all of them will ask after my aunt and my grandma and how I'm doing and I just... I realized I can't.
I need to go down to the beach becuase it's my oasis and my, well I'd say my Tara but that sounds kind of weird, but I take strength and peace from there and I need that. But I can't deal with all the noise and people.
Next weekend my aunt is going to go out of town so I'm goign to go stay with my grandma and maybe I'll go to the beach then.
And I can walk on the beach and sob and not as many people will be around.
I'm rambling, and now I'm stressing that my crappy credit will keep me from getting a good apartment.
