It's not like she blew me off. She just left with another guy, that's all.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Wow, I haven't watched these courtroom tv shows in AGES. They are so pathetically hysterical!

Kerfuffle Bunny would approve.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I've caught a few of the afternoon courtroom shows ... mostly when I'm home sick and can't concentrate on a soap (yes, when I'm really sick). Last time I saw one there was a case where a man (this was in southern California) was suing someone for having started a fire ... by driving down the road with an open fire in the back of his truck. (There was some justice - he also set his own truck on fire.)

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I caught one of those once on a sick day and the defendant was Ike Turner.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Now I need to make my two notecards that are allowable and practice B.S.-ing for 5-6 minutes.

Like that'll be hard!

HEY! I resemble that remark!!!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

The question then becomes WHICH beach...Golden Gardens? Which is bigger and has an off leash dog area? Or Denny Blaine, which is closer and traditionally gay, but small?

The off leash area is a fair way from the beach. It's across the railroad tracks and up the hill. Also, Golden Gardens is traditionally crowded as heck as soon as it gets warm out.

So go Denny Blaine.

asshat!boss part seventy eleven billion. Apparently, my group has a meeting with the new president of the u today. I didn't get invited until 10 minutes ago. Now, I am wearing slacks, sleeveless sweater and a cardigan. By no means unprofessional, but not what I would have worn to meet the new goddamn president. I have almost an hour. I think I'll go home and change.
