Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Art Crawl!!!

Happy Birthday, Hec!

I hope you've had a splendid day.

Congratulations Glam to you, the df and the teeny Momo. (A little peach girl of rare black sort.)

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Here are a few pics of Momo: [link]

Wind, yes, we are keeping them separate until we see the vet on Monday. Her eye looks kind of bad. Do you think it's okay to wait until then or should I be taking her to an emergency vet?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Happy Birthday, Hec. Belated Happy Birthday to JZ.
What Pete said.

Aw, Momo is a cutie. I have no idea on her eye though. I tend to follow guy reactions on vet things which is entirely unhelpful when it's not my kitty.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Kitty!

BLESS!

(I have no useful advice wrt the eye, I'm afraid. If it looks bad, then I think I'd maybe take her to the vet now - but I don't know if that would be needless fretting.)

Happy SmayDay!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My younger nephew has to have surgery on his heart again. It's a routine surgery to deal with scar tissue narrowing on of his arteries. I feel like I am going to be sick.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I've watched this twice now and I can't stop smiling.

eta: Oh, and watch it in "high quality", it really needs it.

Sailaweigh; thank you for that. That is very heartening, isn't it?

Of course, the Korea one made me laugh. A lot. My freaky sense of humor appreciates a good dose of stark contrast.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My Tivo decided that I wanted to watch The Waltons. This episode is missing Jim Bob. Even in the scenes with all the kids walking to school or something, he's not there.

I remember seeing a video a while ago with the wars of the twentieth century acted out by foods representing the countries. Anyone know where that was?
