GC, upper respiratory infections and/or conjunctivitis are quite common in kitties. IIRC, you have another cat in the household - if so, best to keep the felines separated until you can have new kitty looked at, and wash hands thoroughly after handling her so you don't transfer germs to the older one. There is another advantage in keeping them separate for a few days anyway - it will allow them to adjust to each other's scent, and begin getting to know each other, without having unpleasant confrontations. Then, after kitten has had a visit to the vet and gets the all-clear, the introductions may go somewhat more smoothly than if they are just dumped in each others laps.
And, congratulations to you and Momo. May there be many years of joy together.
Happy b-day, Hec.
Kristin, I hope your stings heal up quickly.
Happy Birthday, Hec!
I hope you've had a splendid day.
Congratulations Glam to you, the df and the teeny Momo. (A little peach girl of rare black sort.)
Here are a few pics of Momo: [link]
Wind, yes, we are keeping them separate until we see the vet on Monday. Her eye looks kind of bad. Do you think it's okay to wait until then or should I be taking her to an emergency vet?
Happy Birthday, Hec. Belated Happy Birthday to JZ.
What Pete said.
Aw, Momo is a cutie. I have no idea on her eye though. I tend to follow guy reactions on vet things which is entirely unhelpful when it's not my kitty.
Kitty!
BLESS!
(I have no useful advice wrt the eye, I'm afraid. If it looks bad, then I think I'd maybe take her to the vet now - but I don't know if that would be needless fretting.)
Happy SmayDay!
batman junket is done. I'm very tired. Waiting on the loading dock guarding gear.
MM, insent. A few times, you get them?
My younger nephew has to have surgery on his heart again. It's a routine surgery to deal with scar tissue narrowing on of his arteries. I feel like I am going to be sick.
am home, finally. one cranky toddler, one less-ill DH, and heaps and heaps of thanks and hugs to d who saved my ass.
and have already found two train wrecks waiting for me at work (yes, I checked voicemail [iz idiot] and had to do work email from the beach, bastids), and a couple more at sorta-work and freelance-work. Come on, people. It was five days! And I checked in! jeebus. I need me some kerfuffle bunny.
beach picspam forthcoming. when I surface from the rubble.
happy belated to JZ and DavidS.
{{GC}} and also happy new kitteh.
eta because when I'm tired, things just come out pure wrongness.
I've watched this twice now and I can't stop smiling.
eta: Oh, and watch it in "high quality", it really needs it.
Sailaweigh; thank you for that. That is very heartening, isn't it?
Of course, the Korea one made me laugh. A lot. My freaky sense of humor appreciates a good dose of stark contrast.
