GC, I know how hard it is. The damnable thing about pets is that, unless you've adopted a parrot, turtle, alligator or elephant, you'll outlive them.
ND, I have become cancer research girl, if you want someone to track down things like ways to reduce side effects.
All of this has made me want to go back to an idea I've had (that I mentioned to some people at the F2F) to start some kind of cancer website/blog for the angry and cynical. I'm going to flesh out the idea more on LJ.
I can vouch for how incredibly helpful Ginger is. She made a
huge
difference when my mom was going through her chemo.

There need to be more resources for the angry and cynical, ie, people like me/us.
Ginger, I think that's a really wonderful idea.

The Cancer Bitches! Doooooo eeeeeeetttt!!!
News from the move - the estimator severely underestimated the weight of our goods, at least that is what the driver is saying - instead of 15,000, he is estimating 18,000. We will see when they go weigh the truck. Thank gosh for not-to-exceed contracts.
Rule of thumb I learned when I was in the Navy: three thousand pounds per room. I've never gone over my estimate that way. Goody for not-to-exceed clauses, Suzi!

The cancer boards tend to run to puppies and kittens and people who write LOL a lot, with extra added wackos.
Ginger, how are they on facts? I know there's a lot of garbage about cancer around and I just wonder.
