'Soul Purpose'

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Give yourself some time, ND. It won't do anyone any good to have you get sicker. It is so hard when you aren't there, but if you are sick it is best for everyone to keep your germs at a distance.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

They're installing cable upstairs and in the process managed to turn all of my services off. I went to go tell them, and they said, "I know". You think they could have given some warning. It's back now.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

The Post runs a "picture of the week" in the dead tree version, but they don't seem to have it online. So ... I scanned one. Kelly likes carrots (he REALLY likes carrots).

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

GC, I know how hard it is. The damnable thing about pets is that, unless you've adopted a parrot, turtle, alligator or elephant, you'll outlive them.

ND, I have become cancer research girl, if you want someone to track down things like ways to reduce side effects.

All of this has made me want to go back to an idea I've had (that I mentioned to some people at the F2F) to start some kind of cancer website/blog for the angry and cynical. I'm going to flesh out the idea more on LJ.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I can vouch for how incredibly helpful Ginger is. She made a huge difference when my mom was going through her chemo.

There need to be more resources for the angry and cynical, ie, people like me/us.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Ginger, I think that's a really wonderful idea.
