Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Pretty kitty!

Many, many scritches for the sick kitties. Is there a scritch punctuation? There should be.

My new kitty is doing pretty well. He's probably a boy, now, we think. And he had an eye infection, but that's clearing up nicely now. I do worry about leaving him at home all day while I'm work, but he seems okay. We'll get him a friend as soon as we move to a bigger place, which should be soon, hopefully.

What a sweet kitty!

You know, when I e-mail you and say, "I'm not interested, but thank you for thinking of me," I really don't want you to call and try to convince me. Thank you.

Good things that have happened today:

1) Found out that my antidepressant finally went generic, cutting my copay from $40 a month to $8 a month.

2) Tom got some good followup from a phone interview he had a week or so ago.

3) My last reimbursement check has come in.

4) It is my last day at work before VACATION!

Ann, that's a ferret.

It's the best I can do for scritches.

((((Glam', Josie, and family))))

Are you sure the new kitty isn't a Himalayan? They're Siamese-Persian crosses that look like long-hair Siamese. And a trip to have around the house!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Oh, poor kitty Josie. I'm sorry, GC. It's always so hard.

New kitty looks very cuddly and sweet. KITTEN! FUN!

Gah, just woke up. One of my ex-students texted me last night with what seemed to be a suicidal message (at 11:30) and I soent an hour trying to trace the number and calling and texting back frantically, trying to see who it was.

She finally called me back, and I spent an hour on the phone with her. Her cousin had been shot in a drive-by, and then people came to the hospital and tried to kill him. He was being transferred to a different hospital for safety, but he wasn't stable, and died.

She was with him (long complicated fucked up backstory here I will NOT detail, but it gave me a heart attack) that night. She's a good kid, and it was a mess.

What a tragic, fucked up, avoidable mess.
